Basically, and simply, you can choose from round or square head. There are some variations in between but to keep this from becoming too technical, let’s leave it at round and square. Probably because they are not as clunky and therefore should have less effect on your swing if you scrape the ground before ball contact. The advantage of the square head is that you have more area to strike the ball with.
