Best Electric Toothbrush Reviews 2018 – What are Best Electric Toothbrushes

Some of our reviews may not apply to all of our readers but we feel this one will because we all have teeth..or at least most of us probably do. Those of you who do not probably will not care who makes best electric toothbrush.

I have loved electric toothbrushes ever since I was a kid. Let’s face it, which the exception of those of you out there that are OCD, brushing your teeth isn’t exactly the most exciting thing you do all day. Fortunately, I think as we get older it at least becomes some sort of a ritual or habit. Just one of those things you do a couple of times a day. Kids are a different story and we considered focusing on best kids electric toothbrush but as we started looking at the top rated electric toothbrushes we decided to make this review for everyone.

Truth is, I still like electric toothbrushes so I did not want to exclude myself from a recommended electric toothbrush.

First of all, you may be asking why an electric toothbrush is better than manually brushing your teeth. We put some thought into this and here is what we came up with.

Simply more fun. That’s right we used the fun card here.
Might be easier for older people or people with dexterity problems to use. An older person or someone that has some sort of dexterity problem may find it much easier to clean their teeth with a dentist recommended electric toothbrush.
We found some reports from dentist that said people who used an electric toothbrush had cleaner teeth and better looking gums. There was also a consumer reports article which said if you properly manually brushed your teeth you could do as good of a job as an electric toothbrush. We decided to go with the fact that a dentist uses an electric or air powered or something toothbrush instead of manually brushing your teeth so maybe there is something to the who electric thing.
Some research seems to show that people using a top rated electric toothbrush tend to do a better job cleaning their teeth. Maybe because it is because they are focusing on the cleaning instead of the motion?

If you our your child has braces you should invest in one of the best electric toothbrush braces. You will not regret it and it will save lots of arguments between you and your kids.

How did we go about rating the toothbrushes?

One thing we kept asking ourselves was who makes the best electric toothbrush while we were picking recommend electric toothbrushes. That told us that at least in the electric toothbrush category we seemed to be more concerned about brand. Not sure why, maybe because they go in our mouth? Anyway, a brand name can imply a certain quality level so we looked at it.
Prices are all over the board from $30.00 up to $200.00 (or more) for a quality electric toothbrush.
Faster electric toothbrushes clean faster.
Does it charge, have batteries or a cord? One with a cord just does not work for us, not even sure they still make those. So you either have rechargeable or replaceable batteries. Either works fine but the rechargeable (or self charging) seems to be more convenient.
Cleaning method. Rotating, Rotating-Oscillating, Counter-Oscillating, Dual Head and Vibrating. Wow, that is a lot of different motion choices in your mouth.
Pressure sensor. Just to make sure you do not grind the enamel off of your teeth.
Accessories. Could be a lot things like a charging station or multiple heads. The more additional toys it comes with the better.
Bluetooth. I know right! We said that to, a electric toothbrush has bluetooth? Wow, is everything connected today?
