Men are hard to buy for, we all know that. Each year my wife asks me what I what for my birthday, Christmas, Father’s Day, etc…

Each year I either have no idea or say “nothing”. So we decided to look for uncommon gifts for men that men who have everything would like. Sounded like a daunting task. In truth when we started the process, just like with our article on Really Unusual Gifts for Men who Have Everything, we thought we would struggle. I mean how can we determine uncommon gifts for men or even the top gifts for men when even we don’t know what we want?

There are always the fall back usual guy gifts.

Tools, most men like tools. Not really and uncommon gift for men. Many men have garage full of various tools that we ‘might’ need one day. But, most men still like to get tools. Some tools can even be considered a unique gift for men. For instance, if someone gave you a fly wheel puller that would be a unique mens gift. Most of us might need a fly wheel puller once in our life and would love to have it in our tool collection. Let’s face it, for most men 90% of their tools are only used once. Once you get past the hammer, screwdriver and wrench the rest is just fluff for most of us.

Ties, assuming the man in your life dresses up at least once a month then a tie is not a bad cool mens gift. Especially if you can find some sort of cool tie. Maybe will have their favorite sports team on it. Still, hard to call this an uncommon gift for men. But, if it is cool and unique, maybe it is a decent option.

Shoes, or more specifically boots can be a cool gift for men. Perhaps not an uncommon mens gift but still might be an option. These boots could be hiking boots, work boots or even cowboy boots. If you thinking in terms of this article about uncommon gifts men then I would look toward something more exotic like ostrich or alligator cowboy boots. Maybe even in some sort of weird color. Many men, if they wear cowboy boots, would think this would be a cool gift for men.

Fishing stuff can be a good option if the man you are shopping for likes to fish. Perhaps not the best uncommon gift for men in December, unless he is a hard core fisherman. There are lots of cool reels and lure packages out there that a man would love. Assuming he has not already bought everything he could possibly want himself, which we have a tendency to do! Sometimes men suffer from impulse control.

Hunting equipment can get another good choice when buying for a man who has everything. Most of us, that hunt that is, agree that getting cool hunting gear can make a great gift for a man. Maybe not an uncommon gift for men, since hunting equipment is pretty standard. Maybe you could buy some unique duck call or deer scent remover. Of course it also depends on your definition of uncommon mens gift. Uncommon could be something they would not normally buy or it could be a translated as a weird gift for men.
