Braun Series 7 790CC Electric Foil Shaver Special Product Review
We have written about electric shavers in the past, including how to find the best one. Today we want to take a look at one of the best we have looked at.
First of all Braun, makes a number of good shavers. They have a long history of quality products that are both durable and work very well. The Braun Series 7 790cc is no different. This is a very good shaver in a fairly long line of well made Braun shavers.
Let’s talk a little bit about the Series 7. First of all it is a foil shaver, which as compared to a rotary shaver uses a similar motion like you would use while shaving with a disposable razor.

The Series 7 actually reads and adapts to your beard. It has four synchronized shaving elements that will shave in one stroke what others do in two. Besides the obvious advantage of being faster this will also help reduce irritation to your skin if you are one of us which are sensitive by nature.
Braun claims the Series 7 has can capture even hard to capture hair because it uses 10,000 micro-vibrations. We can’t really confirm this, we tried to count them but kept losing count around 250 micro-vibrations. Wow, those micro-vibrations are REALLY fast.
Even though we could not really get a good count, we can tell you that they do help make this a really good shaver when it comes to a smooth shave.
The Series 7 says it has an autosensing motor that enables the shaver to shave even dense beards. We couldn’t really verify this since none of us have a really dense beard. There was a poodle running around we considered trying it on but decided against it. Pretty sure the dog would bite us!
The Series 7 has 5 turbo/sensitive modes which allow you to adjust the shaver for extra power or for extra sensitivity. We liked this feature and it seems to work very well. We didn’t really need the ‘extra’ power for our beards but the sensitivity mode was really nice.

“I absolutely love this shaver. It is the best I have ever used and I have been using electric razors since 1991. Been using Norelco all that time, but when I tried this razor, it gave me the closest smoothest shave I have experienced ever. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
